#30DaysOfCharity – 12) The Donkey Sanctuary

It’s already day 12 and today’s charity that we’ve donated to for our #30DaysOfCharity is The Donkey Sanctuary, a charity which has gone from helping with the rescue and welfare of UK donkeys, to gradually becoming an international animal welfare organisation.

Around the world, people depend on donkeys for their livelihood, but this can often mean that they are worked too hard and their owners don’t have access to veterinary care. The Donkey Sanctuary not only supports people in the care for their working donkeys but also provides rescue and rehoming for those animals suffering neglect and abuse.
